If you are serious about reducing or eliminating the amount of dirty coal powered energy you use the solution is simple and cheap. Purchase accredited green power from your energy supplier. All energy companies offer it and the more people that choose to use it the better.
The cheapest options are either Jack Green or Integral. You can get 10% of your whole energy bill sourced from accredited green power like wind farms for exactly the same rate as you are currently paying. Check out the comparison table below….You can make a difference and everyone can afford it!
Quite simply we the people have the power with this one… if everyone chooses to purchase their power from green sources the number of coal power stations will reduce.
It is not the government’s responsibility it is simply your choice. We can force the industry to listen. I personally purchase 100% of my power from green sources for about $4 extra a week and I recommend everyone to do it! It is not expensive to get cleaner air for our kids.
